Fees

This page contains information about the prices for group courses, private courses, intensive courses and tailor-made ones. I hope these fees are fair, but if, for some reason or other, you’re not able to pay the normal amount, do get in touch.

a. Preset group courses: €220/22 hrs

Course duration: 11 lessons of 2 hours (22 hours in total)
Books (Waterval I/IV): €35 each
Online access (Waterval/Quizlet): €10
Provided four people or more register.

  • If only two people register:  €299 per course
  • If only three people register:  €249 per course

b. Individual teaching hours – private teaching

  • Regular (employees): €50 per hour
  • Student price (students and job searchers): €35 per hour

Course duration: 1 hour = 60 minutes

d. Tailor-made group courses

In case you need a special course for a private group  – in a specific place and at different times. Times are preferably between 10am and 6pm, but if necessary in the evenings or on Saturdays.

  • €60 per hour for two people
  • €80 per hour for three people
  • €100 per hour for four people or more

When to pay/payment terms:

    1. Invoices for group courses will be sent before the course starts, unless you register later;
      invoices for private or tailor-made courses are sent after ten sessions.
    2. Please pay within a few days after receiving our invoice, but ultimately within two weeks.
    3. If, for whatever reason, you’re not able to pay the whole sum at once, send an e-mail for payment in two terms.

TERMS OF TRADE

1. You have seven days to think things over (time to consider) and cancel our agreement, starting from the moment you register.
2. Course fees should be paid in one term, unless aother arranngements were made. Definitive enrolment will ensue after payment of the course fee.
3. The amount paid gives the pupil the right to said course, to the feedback collected in class, to access to the Waterval training web site (www.waterval.info/online.html) and to advice concerning everything that concerns language, education and career.
4. Last-minute registrations are always possible, but anybody participating in a course must have paid an amount – be it via bank account, or cash (ultimately at the start of the first lesson).
5. In case the number of registrations doesn’t allow for a course to take place, Waterval will always offer an alternative deal. If Waterval! and customer do not reach an agreement, the amount paid will be reimbursed.
6. Bear in mind that we have to charge administrative costs in case you withdraw voluntarily. If you withdraw less than a week before the course begins, we charge 50% of the course fee. If you withdraw less than 4 days before, we charge 75% of the fee.
7. In case it occurs that Waterval!, for whatever reason, is not able to give the course agreed upon, total restitution of the fee for the lessons which were not given will follow within two weeks after definitive cancelling.
8. Data entered above, just as all other personal matters treated in or outside class, will be treated by Waterval! with utmost confidentiality.

Although the designer, Prof. Oxenaar,
put a miniature graffiti tag on the lighthouse, the “vuurtoren”.

He made it look as if his granddaughter Nina
had used the spray can to put her name on it.
The “Nederlandsche bank” (national bankers) were not amused…
